About Workshops

Join us for our interactive performative workshop where participants dive deep into the world of theatre/speech, Shakespeare, stage combat, and theatrical makeup through the power of performative techniques that place the student into the action. 

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our trained professional facilitators who will guide you through an interactive and educational journey. 

All workshops are age appropriate and can be adjusted to meet the needs of the producing organization.

Through this process, participants gain practical tools and applications to be used for performances as well as personal expression which helps these experiences come to life in a learn by doing model.

These workshops are a blend of education and immersion in the world of theatre specific to your organization’s needs. Each workshop employs proven techniques in the specific areas intended to enhance the learning experience of the participants.

Ideal for educational and professional environments, Cause and FX workshops look to make the process of creating a collaborative experience.

Timing: Workshops can run anywhere from 60 minutes to four (4) hours depending upon your specific needs.  Longer workshops are normally combination workshops that include more than one area of interest.

Size: Ideal sizes are for individual classrooms or theatre spaces between 20-30 students. Workshops have been offered to groups as large as 100 participants in a gym, cafeteria, or theatre setting. 

Pricing: The cost of the workshops is dependent upon the size of the group, and Cause and FX is willing to discuss and work with your budget. Consider pricing based upon a per participant per hour fee from $8-$10 per hour. If your organization has a set budget for a workshop, Cause and FX is willing to discuss first time discounts to work with your organization.
